I sold 2 dozen today - that is all that I happen to have on hand. Demand is for about 10-12 doz a week but I only have 18 birds supposed to be laying. Some are slackers! We also have about 20 - 2 mth olds too.

I have my first costumer

I was at work and talking to a copy customer about area farmer's markets and who had what. When he mentioned he really wanted a source for free range eggs I told him my girls had started laying. He wants on my list

I told him to check with me next week since my girls are still a little erratic. He said he didn't care if some were huge and some were small. He didn't even blink at $4/dozen (duck eggs) Woo hoo!
