How old is my pullet?

She will! At first she waits patiently at around dusk, but after waiting a while she'll raise her voice and peck at the back door. She loves being held and pet, too- if she didn't object to being cooped up indoors all day during bad weather, I would say she'd be a perfect lap chicken haha.

You'll have to train the new one to do that too, hopefully the older one won't chase her off.

Might be harder than if they had a coop.....good luck, let us know how it works out.
