How to Tell a Fertile vs INfertile Egg (Pictures)

Only by incubating it and checking to see if it develops.
 
Hi, this is a great thread! Thanks everyone for your photos. Such a wonderful resource.

I'm about to set eggs in the incubator (hopefully) for the very first time. I've cracked open an egg laid 2 days ago, and I'm pretty sure it's fertile. Can others please confirm/nor deny my suspicions.

I have 19 hens and 2 roosters. A visitor saw the roosters and said, "Now you'll get blood spots in the eggs because of the roosters." I was worried, so I came where I knew I would find the answers. Even though I only read through page 11, I will know how to respond next time about roosters, fertile eggs, infertile eggs, and blood spots. Thanks so much.
