The fact that it is a hybrid means that color rules for either breed most likely wouldn't apply. It has an enormous, bright comb for 4 wks, so that is what we have to go by because male tail feathering doesn't usually develop until later, I believe

Always been led to believe that this is a pullet but I'm still not 100% sure. 'She' is 4 weeks old tomorrow. Barnevelder x Cream Legbar

Cockerel, he has a very large comb for 4 weeks, and it looks pretty red. He also has pretty thick legs.

Okay SassySarah, game on! ;-) I have this 11-week old Easter Egger (the hatchery advertised them as "Ameraucana/Easter Eggers" and I was too dumb at the time to know the right questions to ask, but that's a whole other story). Anyway, this chick has always looked male to me but I'm counting on the experienced BYC community to verify if it's indeed a cockerel. He (or she) is a nice bird but seems to have some protective behaviour towards the rest of the flock. I've tried to photograph him from every angle, including his feet, to make his ID as straightforward as possible. THANK YOU in advance!!!

I would love to know what breed this bad boy is. He is new to our flock, and is kinda mean to the human's that live here. I am very new here and a bit lost. Please let me know if I am posting this in the right place.
