Laura!!!! I am so sad for you. Last month a predator dug in and killed 24 chickens and 9 ducks, and we were devestated, so I know how you feel. But we had some that hid and survived. I would be a basket case if I lost them all.

I would also consider rehoming the dog.....

Ours was our fault. The back fence for the coop was the property line, so the dogs couldn't get to the predators. We have since fixed that, but the loss is still a loss. I sell the eggs for lunch money for everyone in the family, so it really cut into our income. Not to mention I lost several birds that I loved.

I imagine you are going through the same thing!!
