how do can you tell so fast a pekin duckling from a muscovy duckling? i saw some pictures and some people said it was a muscovy but it was still small

Pekins are noisy even when little. My Muscovy's are always quiet, even when little. Best I can tell till they get a bit bigger.

A pekin duckling will always be yellow- but a muscovy may have some colour as well. They are a slightly different shape- with Muscovies being a little longer in the tail. Also a muscovy has a bigger bean on its bill and longer claws as well. Telling the difference is easy when you see the two together- but picking out a cross breed can be difficult.
