I quit drinking when i was 20......didn't start again till i was 40.....drank heavily (fifth a night) till i was 51.....then one night on this site....with friends from BYC just decided to quit again.... That was about Year ago..... Thankful for all the support.....
Yep!
Good gloves are essentialI wear leather work gloves, cut it with sheet metal shears or a side grinder with a cutting wheel, and, if cutting from a roll of wire, hang the roll off the edge of the table or work bench to keep it out of the way, and, if necessary, clamp the wire in place. I try to cut h/w cloth as close as possible to the edge of a square to minimize the wires that eat you up...I've donated my share of blood to projects that entail cutting the nasty stuff. You mentioned it being hard to bend...try clamping it in place and bending it over the edge of a board, table, or bench. If you don't let it slip, you can get a nice even bend. If you need more than a 90* angle, put it on a solid surface & tap it down with a hammer. Easy peasey
X2... And, for the record, in the entire history of this or any other world, worrying has never solved a thing!
Close off all openings above 1/2", all ventilation needs to be covered with 1/4" hardware cloth.Hey yall I got a question about weasels how can I keep them from getting into my coop
I finally found out how the mink were getting into my once Fort Knox of a coop.Code:
Cover every gap over 1/2 inch with hardware cloth.
It makes me think about the horrible deaths of deer and other animals that get hung up in fencing.I worked once for a guy who raised Scotch Highland cattle; the ones with the shaggy coats & horns like a Texas Longhorn. He fed round bales inside a tube steel ring that kept them from trampling hay into the ground. One of the guys showed up for work one morning & there stood one of them with his head stuck in the ring in such a way that he couldn't lay down. He must've been there a while, 'cause his legs were getting wobbly from supporting his weight, possibly all night. I hate to think of his fate if he hadn't been discovered when he was. I don't remember whether we had to cut the ring or were able to turn his head & work the horns free.
Close off all openings above 1/2", all ventilation needs to be covered with 1/4" hardware cloth.ok but how do I keep it out and other animals
Please restate that in English with punctuation so we can help.well I got chicken wire over the chickens right now so but the problem is that it has the body of a weasel but it has a pug face

Such a good reason to refrain from mixing eggs in an incubator. Each setting, ideally, should be of one breed and size.Where they banty cochins? Higher humidty is great for smaller eggs, like silkies and banties, because they lose too much weight otherwise. Mine are giant cochin eggs from my own flock, and I've hatched lots of them. Even with the low humidity they didn't lose enough weight and the AC are still smallish. That is my concern.
I threw them in with the ducks for funsies. I'm meeting the needs of the duck eggs, first and foremost. Any chicken eggs that survived the journey are just lagniappe.
What does that mean?1/4 inch cloth 4 weasels
We have boxes full of nicely shaped used liquor bottles. Nice for crafty things.
Git 'er fixed.morning, rain gauge show 2.79 inches for yesterday and the irrigation in the garden is running this morning, I think my sensor might be bad or need cleaning,
The chickens have dug up lots of cool old bottles out of the yard. You def don't want to ruin those old jars with paint, then. I have tons of jars and bottles all around the house. I put bird nests in them, or seasonal flowers, or flame less candles.
I like stuff.
Ain't that the truth.Since you like stuff I hope you never have to move
...
Did it look like it had just learned to fly?You didn't see a dove circling it did you?

Yeah I feel ya on that one!!!! I had my reservations. But the set it and forget it option was the kicker.... When I am on 12 hour days which is more like 14 because of my drive & I get home only to get back up a few hours later, it ended up being worth it to be by me not doing something stupid and falling asleep and forgetting to check, adjust, turn etc or taking the time to make everything perfect for the hatch... you know all the stuff you do with "responsible" hatching-especially when you are dealing with rare, expensive or fragile eggs! Plus I am back to work for now, my hubby is done traveling and we don't have kids so we are blessed as far as being able to splurge every once in a while. Maybe one day if my wrist gets back to semi normal. I'll buy one as a "prize" on the games with eggs thread!!!!Problem for me is that's a lot of pennies
