Introducing a Rooster question

I have hens from 1 1/2 years old to 3 years and just acquired 2 Light Brahma pullets and a rooster (who was supposed be another pullet!) So far he is not mean and he and the 2 LB are still separated from the flock. They are about 5-6 months old. They can see eachother but are not in direct contacts yet. I am concerned about the older hens tolerated the roosters "affection". Any advice?

Don't worry I'm sure they'll love him! I introduced a rooster to my flock a few months ago and there was no problems at all, if anything he's the one that gets bossed around,if the hens aren't in the mood they don't hesitate to let him know! Keep an eye on your pullets though they will probably be subjected to a bit of bullying until pecking order is established, best of luck
