She seemed to until this afternoon but now she just seems to be opening and closing her mouth and breathing with no effort. The egg has stopped moving side to side

He's also pipped closer to the narrow end of the egg nowhere near the air sac. The incubator she has used is manual and not digital for humidity, she did a dry incubation and then filled the water tray, it's always had a slight level of condensation since lockdown and the 5 other chicks hatched fine unaided

Possibly.... is them chewing a sign they are still absorbing the yolk ?

ok thats probably no good

It's been opened twice to remove the overcrowding of chicks as its only a small bator, she added warm sponge each time to keep humidity up
