This egg is on approximately day 4. We candled it and see what appear to be two yolks. We also saw feint spider veins (1 set).
I’m extremely new to this. Is this a double yolk? If so, does that mean it will be twins or do I have to wait and see if 2 embryos develop? Would I have seen 2 separate sets of spider veins if it was twins?
I know there’s a lot of risk with hatching twins. Is there additional any risk with hatching a single chick from a double yolk egg, or would it just get twice the nutrients and be twice as strong & healthy?
