Is traveling with a goose egg safe?

Hello BYC! Is it safe to bring a goose egg on a road trip while it is in the process of hatchIng? I can’t bring the incubator because I would be inside a car, but I would brush water on the membrane to keep it moist and bring a heat lamp to keep it warm.

Any advice?

Delay your road trip until it hatches. That is a really bad idea.

No, that isn't safe at all. Find a sitter for your incubator while you are gone or postpone your road trip.

I would either delay the road trip, or go on the trip yourself but leave the egg home in the incubator.

A newly-hatched gosling should be fine if it stays in the incubator for 24-48 hours after hatching.

How long will you be away from home on your road trip?
