We follow an observatory's YT channel. It's at a small college out here. It's so fricking interesting. Haven't seen much lately because our state is currently underwater, but love astronomy. Took several classes in college just for fun.

I'm spoiled here. Kitt peak is about a 2 hour drive, Lowell is 3, and even though it's not open to the public, the new Discovery telescope is also up close to Flag. You CAN tour it, but you need a hookup to get in.

Lowell is my favorite though. When I lived in Flagstaff I was up there almost every weekend.

I've been obsessed with the night sky since I was a little kid. #4 is too. She's such a mini-me in so many ways.

Another scope at Lowell. This is the Pluto Discovery telescope (before it's most recent refurb). It's the telescope used to record the photo plates Clyde Tombaugh recorded the first discovery of Pluto from in 1930.
