If you plan on culling Tiger, please PM me! I can show major respect towards a baby that is strong enough to survive alone at night.Yes and no. I'll keep the one to suit my needs. Beyond that,
I have no plan at this time. But he does seem to be the keeper. If you plan on culling Tiger, please PM me! I can show major respect towards a baby that is strong enough to survive alone at night.
Awwww he is darling!
Neither. Monitored for pasty butt when very little, but otherwise hands off. Same with pullets.Awwww he is darling!
Do you hand-raise cockerels? Or do you hand them off to a hen when they are itty-bitty?
Reminder: Cull means to remove. Not necessarily kill.I will not cull him,
It must be me just being weird. I am very hands-on (though we thought ours were all pullets at first). The little turd that just got me had actually been a very snuggly chick. The big roo (Swifty) was addicted to a Youtube cartoon show about a tiny chick being blown up; he used to be rather aggressive with me, until I had to hand-feed him when he had frostbite. Now he is my loveable guardian.Neither. Monitored for pasty butt when very little, but otherwise hands off. Same with pullets.
I honestly thought it meant to kill, always. I think that I could totally pull off having a rooster farm.Reminder: Cull means to remove. Not necessarily kill.
