Japanese Bantam Thread!

Hello this is Haydon and Im new to showing poultry and i wanted your guys opinion. Which of these two birds would do better at a show?

All of my black tailed white Japanese eggs just hatched.

. I would love to get my son some show quality mottled

The girls love to hide eggs on me but they are always so cute when they hatch

I got a couple hens awhile ago, a black tailed buff and black tailed white, and both are so quirky! I don't know if it has something to do with their genetics and the leg mutation perhaps, but one is very strange and nearly mute. The other was anxiety ridden, but fine when you finally caught her and just a weird one. Can't even describe their weird personalities well but they are two of my favorite to watch because they are so funny, especially with their little legs! I'm in Pasadena too, and I want more, if anyone knows a good place to get just a couple hens.

Ours are easy going unless they have chicks lol. We still handle the broodys dont want them to get to flighty on us. For the most part they go right to my son.
