These birds came out of a Black Java Hen's brown egg:
I was surprised when these two developed but when the hen had a pea comb I knew my Black Java Rooster bred my Blue Ameraucana hen (who's father was a Silver Ameraucana ) and their daughter to a Black Java Rooster produced 25% silver.
These birds came out of a brown Java egg which is what threw me until the pea comb.
