our first chick..

we got a chick to actually hatch!! it's our first one.. i'd show you guys a pic, but I'm not sure how to post picutes on here.. how do you do it?

here is the picture of our 1st little one... we have 10 java, 5 buff orvington, 5 golden lace winedot.. so I'm not sure if this little guy would be mixed breed or not.. what do you guys thing?

in your mix, what roosters do you have?

I have a Barred Rock roo and a Java roo and I have 12 chicks....looks like most of mine were fathered by the barred rock roo. Not sure about your chick.

I know she is from Lyle Behl's birds and her parents were a Java Mix?

ok, glad to see we are not fighting..lol.. but we agree that she is a nice looking bird. My camera has a dead battery, these pics do not do her justice, She is a striking bird!

Looks as healthy as a horse too me.

Now that don't mean I'd breed her though.
