just got some new chicks. three of them are Australorps, three are Amacunas, two are buff Orpingtons, two are golden sex linked, two are corchine, and two are speckled sussex. I have three red productions (ones a roo), one more buff Orpington, and two more sussex. the last are now about 8 to 10 weeks old. lost several when the next door dog came over for chicken lunch. they feel at animals are God's creatures and He will protect them if He wills it. or some such line. someone asked him if God would protect them from a forty-five. their response was that that person would go to hell. mentioned my problem on a thread called R.I.P.
