Most of my girls are either broody or still raising youngens, or too young themselves. My lavender orpingtons and golden comets are the only ones still laying :/

I have 2 pens of silkies with frizzle and sizzle. One has a white frizzle over a white am, white SG and several Silver Penciled Wyandottes but I also have a Gray silkie cockerel in there too. Then I have a Choc Sizzle in with buff silkies. Both are just for fun.

Do you ever have an abundance of fertile eggs?
I tried mating one of my serama roosters to my sizzle and silky...nothing fertile. (He did great with the serama hen)
I'd love to try hatching a serama silky/sizzle mix.
Our sizzles eggs are the same size as our standard Wyandotte chicken eggs.
I love my sizzle!
(And she's broody now)
