Keep rain out of ventilation holes?

Awning style "shutters" and large roof overhangs.
I also have open soffits secured with hardware cloth.

depending on size of ventilation openings, I used gutter fill under ridge trim across entire length, left maybe 2" gap between sides, and used it between rafters under eve, only time rain gets thru those is if it is super windy too, which is is sometimes, but just a couple drops max from ridge. this picture shows the eve stuffed full

then for sides I used plexiglass covering the mesh, and that is part of the overhang, 4 " overhang and plexiglass slants to the siding

if this link doesn't work, it's called "foam filter plastic gutter guard" gutterstuff is the brand name for it. can find it at most home improvement stores i'd imagine, for sure home depot and menards...
Thanks.
Water goes thru fine...for gutters, but I'll bet not much air gets thru so not so great for covering/filling vents with. Wondering how rain is getting in your eaves....can't quite see the outside of eave area.

I was wondering that too
@k9chickenlady are you going to show us your coop?
