HI. I was just wondering what is your opinions and advice for keeping your chickens cool during the summer? Do you run a sprinkler, put electrolytes in there water, or have a pool for them? Anything would be great! Thanks!!

P.S. It does get pretty hot here in Kansas. We don't have a lot of trees either. Just thought that might be good to add! Thanks!

Some great ways for keeping chickens cool are to provide shade, provide bowls of cold water so they can stand in them and/or dunk their heads in. Hang frozen water bottles or jugs in the coop with a fan blowing on them. Also, foods such as melon, frozen corn or grapes can all be given. I've attached three links you should check out too.

Good luck!
