I won 4-H Poultry showmanship the other day, and boy oh boy did my little pullet get kisses!

She LOVED it too!

Congratulations on winning! My 12 and 8 year old kids want to show chickens. Needless to say we are learning all we can before hopping into this endeavor!

Thank you so much for the link! It was my children's idea to want to show,so being the supportive mom I am I told them I would look into what it takes.

I worry a lot about sam... samen... getting sick so I have found that for me a good compromise is to kiss at them when I hold them. This in no way means that they get any less lovin! Besides, my girls are not very cuddly. They seem to love me best when I have treats
