Yay I finally got a hatching of Orpingtons only 3 but who cares it's a start next hatch due next week

I hatched out 6 chicks on the 20th, but this one I was waiting for a black lavender orpington.

What a cutie patootie!!! I hatched 10 and got 1 black split.

Got a decent pic of my black split girl today.

She's pretty! Wanted to give an update on my hatch.....yesterday was hatch day. We ended up with 3 out of 6 eggs set. I checked the ones that didn't hatch and one was a dud, never started so I'm calling it 3 out of 5. Not bad for her first time being broody!!

She's an 8 month old black sex link. Her name is Copper. I think she did good, next time maybe she'll do a little better
