I have 1 English Lavender Orpington pullet that is about 7 months old. Hasnt layed yet hope she starts soon.

LO 1/2 in and one 1/2 out looks black, I will wait till it drys. and a Blue andelusian, and a frizzle pip. Still waiting for other eggs day 20

one white and one LO hatched, the green is still zipping, maybe tomorrow, day 21, and one LO pipped wrong end.

I am going to keep her in her egg as long as I can, too much yolk. I am hoping she didn't pop it. I dabbed flour on her bloody bits and cleared her beak.

I was not able to save the wrong end pip egg it had a broken yolk, I did have a staggeredhatch and 2 days later 3 more eggs I had tossed in incubator hatched...left to right black LO, SLW/dark brama mix, and a gray egger...

I have 2 black LO in the mix, the gray chick is an Isbar.

I am setting a couple dozen lavender orp eggs next week.  It will be so nice to have lavender orp babies running around again. I haven't hatched any for a while!!!
