Leg Bands?

Do you use them? If not, how do you tell your same breed chicks apart?

I haven't used them yet, but I'm changing things up a bit this year and plan to use zip ties to help identify my older ones so when butchering time rolls around I know who's on the list.

Zip ties work great, I've used them too. Only thing is, just like with other bands, you need to watch close as they grow so they don't get too tight. Leg bands on chickens need replacing as they grow with bigger ones. My current favorite is the velcro bands they sell for organizing cords. You can get them in multi colored packs at hardware and home centers.
