Of course its wonderful that her last name is Bird, but she also has an excellent knowledge of chickens and has helped us greatly with our ill Plymouth Bared Rock Hen, Poppy. She knew what was wrong with a quick look over and didnt perform unnecessary expensive tests but did gave us the knowledge and assistance we needed.

I dont know if its been already listed but in California there is a clinic in Roseville that sees chickens.

Its called Roseville Bird and Pet Clinic! From the reviews I have read do not have Dr. Omar Cabrera see your pet.

Thank you so much for this. I have been searching and calling and researching to no avail to find a vet that actually will see chickens. The Avian lists are nice but the majority of vets seem to only see pet birds. Although the one mentioned in Texas that might be near me might still be an hour away, at least its something. Thank you.
