Livestock guardian dogs

I live in a rural area of Maryland about 15 miles from the Mason-Dixon line My predators consist of
Fox's, coyotes, I've heard Mountain lions But never seen any, bear sometimes, coons, skunk, and some others.
I have over 100 birds. Between chicken's, ducks, and guinea fowl. I have a big fox population around me right now. I don't own a gun
And probably never will. So a lgd is my next best thing. I live on 18 acres and I know there is at least 2 fox den's on
My property the law in Maryland states that is I trap it I have to kill it. I also know that my farm friend down the street from me has
Already killed 2 or 3 foxs since I had an attack on my flock 3 weeks ago and she's seen more. Anyway thanks for all the advice

Central MO - FLW area. Raise Rare Breed poultry - primarily English Orps, project Ameraucana and a few Cemani. Right now I have a litter of livestock Guardians raised with poultry available if anyone is interested.......

Newbie here. Anybody have any experience with livestock guardian dogs for their birds? Have a huge problem in the springtime with Raccoons and Foxes and year-round with straying dogs. Wondering if a Great Pyrenees would be the way to go.

Well dogs are good but donkeys and llamas are also good protectors

Donkey and llama might be of use against canine type predators - not so much rats, coons, weasels etc don''t think. Plus they require quite a bit more room/pasture.

We use Flood lights by our coop. It senses motion and then the creatures run away
