Male or female Muscovy?

Hi everyone!!

I adopted this beautiful Muscovy today that was found abandoned on the side of the road a few towns away from me. This is my first time seeing one in person, can anyone tell me if this is a male or female?

Going by the size comparison to the speckled sussex behind her in the third picture, I think that it is a hen.

Also, males make a hiss or huffing sound and females make a high pitched chortling sound

And at that age, a male would be the size of a turkey.

Thanks for your replies everyone!!! She’s become my favorite duck! In the morning she makes these soft little noises and wags her tail when she sees me Now I will have to think of a name!
