So glad little Georgie has some "soon to be" buddies!! Love the pics!
Georgie has 2 chick buddies living with her right now, but I've heard it's not good to keep chickens with turkeys for too long. I was going to combine them all, until I realized how huge the bourbon reds were compared to them.So they are in cages next to each other, acclimating to each other.

39 Bourbon Red turkey eggs in lockdown. Hope I get a lot of birds. They are so much better as chicks than chickens. They are so much more curious and playful. Chicken chicks are fun, but I believe turkey poults are better.
That's adorable!! I had 2 of the RIR chicks hop on top of one of my silkie moms, but I didn't have the camera handy....They definitely didn't have such a roomy back to ride on though!! That is one fluffy mom!!!
