So glad little Georgie has some "soon to be" buddies!! Love the pics!
Georgie has 2 chick buddies living with her right now, but I've heard it's not good to keep chickens with turkeys for too long. I was going to combine them all, until I realized how huge the bourbon reds were compared to them. So they are in cages next to each other, acclimating to each other.

39 Bourbon Red turkey eggs in lockdown. Hope I get a lot of birds. They are so much better as chicks than chickens. They are so much more curious and playful. Chicken chicks are fun, but I believe turkey poults are better.
That's adorable!! I had 2 of the RIR chicks hop on top of one of my silkie moms, but I didn't have the camera handy....They definitely didn't have such a roomy back to ride on though!! That is one fluffy mom!!!
