Mating geese

A friend wants to mate her gander with my ladies. So a couple questions

1. Can this be done?
2. Would he come to my house or she go to him?
3. Would they even breed if they've never met or would it be a bloodbath
4. She has a Chinese and I have BIG Embdens girls
5. The girls are already laying eggs and broody
6. One female trys to mate with the others and I don't think she lays or doesn't regularly
lay.

Any info would helpfull because we'd like to try this sooner than later

normally with farm animals the stud does the traveling. that’s an interesting proposal . i am going to watch your thread and i hope you give updates on how it goes . perhaps @JRies or @Goosebaby will have knowledge in this area.

Iv never tried this but they do artificially inseminate. you can google there is a old pdf on science direct. My girls jump out of the pond when a boy they dont like jumps in.

It’s probably only possible the artificial route, geese are social and it may take them a day…or several weeks to get “acquainted.”
