I had a spiral perm and used a can of aqua net hairspray and a blow dryer for my hair to look like that
And I called it the rat’s nest

Another true story

My 4th 5th 6th grade English (language arts) teacher
let us check out books from her classroom
And I was hooked on reading from then on
I really loved to read and buythe
Scholastic books from those monthly papers the teacher gave you and the book fairs

For someone who always had a book to read when I finished my work early in class ……

Reading was not my best subject and I did not like it……

Why?!? Because I only like to read what I choose to read and not what I’m told to read

And I am still reading books
