Are you raising these as meat birds?
I plan on keeping two or three from each breed who had the best weight gain as breeders in order to raise their offspring as meat birds. As for the rest, the nice ones will be layers and the mean ones will be dinner

I moved the oldest chicks out to my mobile coop today, now they've got about 15 square feet for the 21 of them. In another week or so, I will upgrade them to 24 SF, but for now I want them in a smaller pen to get used to the setup.

They seem to like the horizontal nipples and the hanging feeder, and they are taking to foraging like they've been dreaming about it. You can even see my makeshift "Naked Neck" in that one photo, poor girl...
She is, she's doing well but a bit skiddish, as is expected. She's acting much better than she looks.
