Well, they aren't new chicks, but how about my young ladies from Meyer? They were 10 months old a few days ago, but I didn't get pictures of them until today. Been a rough few weeks for us over here. 'Chicken therapy' is all that keeps me sane some days. I might add, cuddly Dorkings make some of the best 'therapists'.
The Silver Grey Dorking twins, Elda:
And Kit:
Georgie the Black Copper Marans; her sister, Louise, has not been feeling well and is bunking in my room, so I didn't get a picture of her.
And Mabel the Welsummer:
Elda begging for cuddles.
How could I turn down this face?
And as a bonus, here's Frou-Frou the splash Marans having a spa day.
Waiting for chicks is so exciting but full of anxiety! Why do we do it?!
My hatch attempt was a complete failure. Thankfully my little Limabean is sitting on some eggs. So far she's doing great. I think we are on day 5 or 6 so they'd be due around April 7th. Can't wait to see what she hatches!
