I bought a Partridge Cochin hen. Well, I was suppose to get a hen. I got a rooster instead. Which, according to the color genetics specialists, he's not even Partridge.

I also have a Blue Polish hen. She's pretty.I also have Silver Laced Wyandottes. I haven't taken pictures of them recently.

If you search this thread, I have posted more than a few pics of my BLRW hen from Meyer. She is molting now and looks absolutely pitiful, or I'd post a current one.

I also have a buff laced polish pullet from Meyer, about 16 weeks old now. Here she is:




Kind of skittish, and not necessarily the brightest bulb, but entertaining. I had to chase her into the coop at dusk last night, after everyone else had pretty much turned in for the night. She was just hanging out on the ground next to the garage, like a sitting duck. And she got lost in the woods by our back fence line the first day I let her group of pullets out to range in the yard. The others pretty much stuck together, but she wandered off by herself and seemed distressed. Hard to blame her with that mop top, though--not sure how well she or the Sultan I got at the same time can see, and their crests aren't even fully grown yet--may require trimming in the future. I am definitely more worried about them being hawk bait than the other hens, so I keep a closer eye on them.

Know it's a long shot cause they hatch sooo many chicks so no way of knowing which ones are "mine" but I had to cancel my October 11th order and did it kinda last minute so we told them to just add them so someone else's order or something so I'm curious if anyone got any extra chicks or got these breeds in their assorments LOL again, I know they may include these anyways but I'm also just curious what breeds are typically in the assorments

The breeds I had ordered were: 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 1 Partridge Rock, 1 Speckled Sussex, and the free chick but idk if they'd add that.

But they're all rareish breeds so I'm sure they found a good home with somebody
