Moving coop location

Over this winter in Maine, I have come to the conclusion that we chose a bad location for our coop/run. Is it possible to relocate the coop, and have the hens know where it is in case of danger? What's the best way to do this? Similar to acclimating them when we first got them as pullets last summer?

Yes - just "re-home" them to the new location - when you move it, leave them confined to the coop/run for a week or two and then, when you start letting them out practice calling them back to that location for some special treats a few times. The first few evenings I would just keep an eye out to be sure everyone remembers where to go back to at dusk and, if there are any confused birds, gently guide them back to the coop.
