I finally sold off all my big chickens. They were destroying my gardens that I worked on for 20yrs. I switch to just ducks and bantams. So far so good. Now sticking with chicken math, if I sold 14 large fowl that means I can get 25 new bantams, right??? So I did lol. The hatchery sent 2 extras and 4 chicks were DOA. So technically I only have 23. BUT, they are all lively and doing great! I tell myself the ones that didn't survive the trip were all rooster.
