You know, the little red one looks a little like my gold laced wyandotte did when she was little, and now that little one isn't really feathering like a japanese is it?

I do not think you have a red pyle I just got a shipment from Ideal and they are almost white. I thought they would be more yellow but they are a very soft, faint yellow. but I am no expert.

herechickchick: the red pyles might be some of my yellow ones, then. the pictures of red pyle chicks i saw had the reddish, so i assumed those were them. they might be something totally different!

Well, I can tell you two things to help eliminate some breeds. My Japanese babies had wings that pointed almost straight down to the ground and a tail that pointed straight up to the sky. And Americaunas normally have lots of extra fluff around their cheeks. Not much help am I??!! LOL

haha, it's ok! someone else had said on another thread that it looked japanese. i'm stumped on a few. i think we assumed the blue-ish ones were the blue wheatens, and now i'm pretty sure they're porcelain.

i didn't know about that dot faced one. the green feets made me remember all the ameraucana posts.

i love having such a grab bag. it makes it more fun, trying to id everyone.
