New born kittens potty training

Momma should be with them until she is done nursing them.

I've been warned against clumping litter before as they supposedly lick it off their paws and it can cause blockages? That's what I've heard anyway...

1. 8 weeks old
2. Cats do not have to have another cat but they would be happy to have each other to play with.
3. Any cat litter works but I use Tidycat

If you are keeping a male be sure to neuter as soon as the vet recommends because they may spray everywhere and once they start it is to late.

Very cute!! I always started litter box training right about that age but mine were inside cats and they had a crate they were raised in. Mom could come and go and kittens stayed in that area. I used a small box lid for the litter since they are so tiny. They would jut insticntully use the litter box because they do not like to mess where they sleep. When kittens would venture out they would always come back to the box to potty. I would sometimes pick up accidents and put them in the box if that happened and it would help. From my experience the earlier you can start the quicker they catch on.
