Finishing some painting but a rainstorm hit. Lucky to have gotten 2 dry days in a row this year. Making everything a convenient size, weatherproof enough, and shiba dog proof led to a lot more weight than expected. Still 2 of us can shift it around. In 3 days the chickens have already turned 8x8' of the lawn in to a gooey mess.

Doors to roost and nestbox area. The biggest problem with the old coop that was here.

No more crawling from the front to the back in less than even 4' high on a thin wood floor that has rotted and trying to get the eggs back out without cracking them. Right now we are using a cat litter box for a nest, two 2x4 roosts, and the feeder that was built by the previous owners of the property except it needs major cleaning. They set up their coop so the feeder sat under the roosts and it's 2" thick in chicken poop.

There is also a 4x4' side door which works to reach the water and the chickens in the open area. Not that you really need to reach for them. After 24hrs they decided the newness has worn off and they want to go back to free ranging. They are killing plants, eating vegetables, and will be shiba food if they don't stay locked up.

Hmm... it does not recognize my photobucket links in any form.

Eh, if I had to upload my pics to every site I use I would be here all day. If I can't post pics from a central location then goodbye again. I wonder if the CC forum is still active.
