Getting three two week old light Brahma chicks, two ten week old (1 grey, 1 white) Polish x Auracana chicks and two four week old Araucana bantam chicks...

I'm so excited...

I currently have five standard layer hens (got them from a farm), one standard rooster and one silkie X hen.

Had this little guy just yesterday, but sadly he was weak, couldn't walk and was crushed by his mother.

The three little white chicks are light Brahmas, the two black/grey ones are Araucana bantams and the larger two are (apparently) Polish x Araucana, but the woman I got them from said they have some Silkie in them too.

That's so exciting! I can only get new chicks once every two years, we don't have enough people to eat the eggs produced by more than two laying hens at a time

And my dad refuses to feed more chickens than we need.

Sorry about your loss though
