I'm in Central Maine. I do love camping in Northern Maine though.

Yeah it is, and in my long travels, I still haven't been able to reach the top of it. (True, these travels were always on back roads, with some of them being miles of dirt, so I wasn't going the interstate the whole way, if at all.)

Wow, that sounds amazing.

It is. On the dirt roads, at one of my favorite places to go camping, it's an hour of dirt roads in every direction before you see pavement again. There's also no cellphone service there either. The only way to put out a call or text is to find a helicopter pad and call from there. There's literally no one for miles and miles.

I’ve been from the bottom to the literal tippy top (and back) all in one day.
