New incubator.

Has anyone else used this kind of incubator and had a good success rate ? I have also put in digital thermometer and they dont really match up and I am not sure which one to belive. Also what would other recommend to use?

When I was using one like that last year I used two separate thermometers to compare and check on each other temp going on.

I did use one similar and it did work well. I incubated 30 eggs with it, and just used separate one for hatching.

Were using our old one for hatching but I had my first duck hatch yesterday and oh boy he had a hard time getting out but we had about 30 chicken eggs and have had no success, are there other hints that can be given for success? Maybe were doing something completely wrong.

Where they shipped eggs or local? What was your humility and temp at the time of lockdown? There are a lot of little things to look at too.

I have used the cheapest styrofoam little giant for thousands of eggs with great success. Shipped eggs and ones from my own birds.
My philosophy is to not overthink it. I fill with water and let them go. Take the turner out at lockdown and fill with water again.
My success has been in the high 80-
