New to chickens

Im completely new to having chickens. I have a couple concerns.
1-can my chickens and ducks be cooped together? I have 4 hens, 1 rooster and 2 ducks. I plan to let them be free range but i have a coop and a run for when we are out of town.
2-any tips for introducing them to the outside world? I have been letting them outside in a pen for small periods during the day when possible but nervous for their 1st overnight stay in their coop.
any tips are greatly appreciated!

I'm relatively new too so I cant answer your questions, but I do believe I've read others on here with ducks and chickens together.
My girls are still in the brooder and I'm nervous about that night out as well
