HT, is there only 2 one possibly boy the other pullet? I was thinking there was 3 total? so if the one is a boy then it will be just the one pullet?

Morning to all...almost afternnoon!

Story...those pictures are great!!!!

I have 2 call duck eggs pipped.

I am really excited about these. Only 4/8 made the shipping trip. 1 may be a quitter, but I put it in the hatcher anyway.
Lots more chicken eggs developing nicely.

Up till recently neither of the two older ones even had any color to their comb, now one is just starting to turn a darker pink but I am still questioning the other.

no....

combs, feathering and whattles and behavior. OOO you will learn.

And have a blast doing it....

Even at a younger age allot of breeds will show in their comb and wattles, boys will tend to get darker pink or even red at a much younger age. I do have some project bantam orps in the brooder right now, I believe they are around the 6 week mark and I can tell every boy from girl at this point.

Of my 7 silkies I hatched 6 weeks ago, one has the comb "pinkness" so far...... nothing on the others. How do you sex silkies?
