Well my hen just hatch her eggs and now she is walking aroung with 10 black chicks

Well, my Marans mix hatched but like her sister she had a slightly protruded bloody naval. I put iodine on it and she will probably be just fine. Trying to analyze what the root cause is... I am referenceing this article and still not sure http://www.natureform.com/kb/index.php?print=1011 Opinions? Experience?

CCL x GLW cross is out too and again with the slightly bloody protruding naval. I think the incubator was a little low in temp since the cold front hit. These were both on day 22 which just doesn't usually happen here. But that doesn't seem to fit the reasons given for this :/

I'm worried about malpositioning since he ended up with that crazy air cell. I think I'm going to make a small peek hole.

they completely hatched themselves? hummm

I had a little guinea keet that hatched a month or so ago that had a little yolk sticking out...it never absorbed it, it finally just dried up...but I did keep it isolated until I was sure it wouldn't rupture...if you find a reason let me know
