Official BYC 2023 Summer Fair
Equine Show Ring
Ends on August 20th, 2023​

Let's celebrate all the wonderful equines in our lives and show them off! This show ring is for any and all equines, horses, mules, donkeys, burros, and minis. This will be a random draw contest.

A picture of your equine, equine plus handler, or a riding picture in whatever discipline you enjoy will be eligible. Even those special views from atop pictures to celebrate time spent riding. Feel free to share what makes your equine so special.

In this contest, the winners will be picked using a random number generator.

Prizes:

• 3-month PFM! to at least three winners!

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of an equine(s). One entry per post, please.
2. Include a brief blurb about the equine(s).
3. The equine must be one of the following:
   • Your equine.
   • An equine that you have ridden or taken lessons on.
   • An equine that you take care of or help take care of.
4. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
5. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
6. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
7. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
8. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)

Entries will be accepted until August 20th, 2023, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

This is Sunny! I have been riding him for 2+ years. Next week will be our second(and last) year showing at the county fair. He has been my lease horse this year. This is us bareback, he is my little Indian pony.

This is sweet Jackson. I have been helping to take care of him since he was born a few months ago. He's a spunky little guy, who will eventually be grey!

This is Sunny again, showing off how classy he is in his English bridle. He is about 16, and is an absolute saint with everyone. Sweetest thing that likes to occasionally decide not to neck rein and just walk off in the opposite direction... -__-

This is Duke. I have ridden him a grand total of once. This was an IEA show, meaning you mount and immediately show a horse you do not know. I got to know his limits.

This is Arley. His show name is Third Time’s A Charm, and he lives up to the name! He is the sweetest, most personable horse I have ever met. From older green broke ex-cart horse to dressage competition mount, he has changed a lot in the last year and half!

This is my other horse, a 19 yr old mare named Aspen. She’s retired now, but that doesn’t stop her from giving me all the sass. She taught me all the ropes of riding and put up with lots of mistakes on my part. A very good (and grumpy) girl!
