Olandsk Dwarf Chickens

I am looking for someone who has gone through several rounds of hatches with the OD. I would like to hear how you selected and what the results were. I have not done any selective breeding yet and would like some personal experience info as there is little to no standard.....!?!?

Anyone willing to spill their beans on improving this breed. I have 2 roosters and 9 hens. A fair start to work with....

I think they would be a lovely addition. I thought for some reason berrytangle had these guys already

Definitely concerned about diversity. We had a perfect storm of issues that took out our flock, but we were also unhappy with the quality of chicks that we saw hatch late last summer and heard the same from other breeders.

My little Olandsk chicks at 5 weeks old. Is it still too early to sex them?

Hi Emmi,

Looks like a roo in the middle and all the way to the left. The roosters chest will only have black spots and the hens will have brown also.
