How old is she? If she's young, I wouldn't give up on her yet. Also, you can cross her with a male that has a really nice head to try to improve.

She's about 9 months old so still young yet. My gold partridge boys do have really nice heads and I'm actually picking up a 10 month old blue partridge trio tomorrow. I don't have a good picture of his head but the girls seem a little nicer than my current pullet so we'll see!

Im starting a project pen in the spring with three buff brahma hens, and hopefully the jubilee orpington i hatched is a male to put over them, if its not i have to search for a jubilee orpington rooster for them. Its going to be a jubilee brahma project pen. I got three pullets at the Ohio National Poultry show.

I tried to get pictures of them, but the other chickens wanted their pictures taken of them and kept getting in the way, so not the best, plus it was overcast, but here they are:



And here's the jubilee orpington I'm hoping is a rooster.
