My light Brahmas. I know their plain in comparison to some of the other colored Brahmas but I like Light Brahmas. Well Brahmas in general. I've had these guys since they were four months old , they are 8 months old now. The hens are laying Juanita and Margarite , The rooster's name is Fernando.. Had a chick hatch yesterday

If I'm lucky hubby will let me get more

Wimberleytexaschick- what are your plans for the lavender laced pullet? Will she be bred back to silver laced or will you work on lavender laced gold?

I just found this topic. Beautiful birds up there!

I have Buff-Laced Brahmas from Dan Powell. Here are some pics of my flock.

I'm curious about those who have bred Blue Brahmas. What would I need to do to take these birds in that direction?
I'm a newbie to breeding, so talk baby talk to me, please! I have the incubation and hatching part down but I don't understand
all the genetic stuff very well.

Also, could someone please post a picture of a vulture hock? I have no idea what to look for. Thanks.

Vulture hock - see the feathers pointing backward off Corkey's "elbow." Not a good thing.

Well you haven't seen any posts from me in a while as i lost my entire stock when a raccoon broke onto my pen and killed pretty much everything. I am just now starting to hatch and rebuild, hopefully in a year or so ill be able to start a project again. Hope to hear from some of you again.
