Ordered my 1st chicks!!

Exact 2 breeds I got 2 BRs and 2 RIRs when starting out. Now I have ordered 2 EEs and 1 Buff Orpington from POC(My pet chicken) and they are coming on October 13th! GREAT two choices for starting chicken raisers! If you want pictures just let me know.

Oh my goodness @Mutt Farm that is too funny! My favorite is the long-legged chicken jumping over the gates. Hilarious!

Wait is chicken agility a thing? Do people compete their birds in this sort of behavior??? I've certainly heard of it for dogs, but chickens?

Well our first batch (I wouldn't say babies) were about almost 1 year and a half old when we ordered 3 more 3 days ago.

Well yes it is a thing! Might be a secret society.

It's mostly embraced by animal behaviorists and professional trainers. It helps us focus on our training techniques. If you can train a chicken to dance... you can train anything! There are great videos on teaching chickens behaviors. It's so FUN!
