Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

I am working on making a pen of non-bearded Partridge Silkies right now.  F1 generation in the brooder and under the hen.  I love the color, and I like the non-bearded ones too.

That's awesome, I love the blue they look like earrings.

yes he look to have a similar phenotype but also some differences. Notice the black head and beard.

He comes from Partridge originally (I call them the "Quail" pattern) but was added and removed some color-genes !

My boy definitely has blue, whereas yours looks to not. But the body patterns are very similar.

I have them also in blue (but here comes in easy "autosomale red") and in my opinion the contrast in coulor is less.



yes the body patterns are similar by a columbian restrictor that pushes the black away (yours have even more black in the neck), the concentration of black in mine (which have more black in head and beard) could be provoked by the charcoal gene, as can be seen clearly in this hen :
